• Artist Perspective: "Karen lives just outside of Middleburg, Virginia with her husband, Doug and their two cats, Patchie and Charlie. Karen and Doug formed Middleburg Photo LLC in 2011 and built a studio, of their own design three years later. Growing up in the local equestrian area, Karen embraced her experience with horses and riding to become an internationally published equestrian photographer. She can be seen most weekends, clicking away with her Nikon, followed by many hours editing each image to bring out the best in every shot. Karen has leveraged her social media knowledge and networking to partner with local businesses. Karen enjoys spending time in her mini garden, creating culinary delights, spending time with friends and exploring new travel destinations."
